- The Pinwheel Garden, a new dumpling and noodle house in Lafayette, has started hosting soft opening events for a select audience. They anticipate opening to the public at large next month.
- The 8th Annual Hamilton Park BBQ Festival takes place this Saturday 9/23 from 12-8pm in support of the Hamilton Park Conservancy. Expect a variety of barbecue vendors, drinks, music and more.
- Tickets are now available for $40/person to the 2nd Annual Smith Wine Festival on the rooftop at Porta on 9/30 from 1-4pm.
- Waffle It & Co. has started carrying WHOS Gluten-Free butter cookie sandwiches with nutella filling at their Harborside Pop-Up.
- Liberty Harbor is hosting their second annual block party with the help of Marketplace JC this Saturday from 12pm-5pm. There will be crafts and games for kids, music, and local food trucks and vendors.
Outside Jersey City
- Jersey Girls Food Tours is expanding with a new food tour in Red Bank, NJ. The new tour will launch Sunday, 10/1 with 5 restaurants and desserts to go from the much-loved vegan Cinnamon Snail food truck.
- Silly Chilly Hot Sauce has launched a kickstarter to help fund an expansion of the business and help automate production.
