Farmers Market Season Returns for 2018

This Saturday marks the start of Farmer's Market season in Jersey City! Markets throughout the city will begin opening over the next several weeks and run through the fall and early winter, bringing fresh produce, healthy snacks, skincare, baked goods, fish, grass-fed meat and more.

Van Vorst Market at Van Vorst Park, Montgomery and Jersey Avenue, is the first to return. It will start this Saturday, 4/21 and run every Saturday from 8am-2pm through 12/22.

The market will include new vendor Rabble & Lion Coffee Roasters, a NY-based micro-roaster, X-Calibur Knife Sharpening, Hoboken Farms with their line of fresh tomato sauces, pastas, bread and mozzarella along with two different farms, fresh cheeses, skincare, and more.

The next market to open will be the HDSID Farmer's Market at Grove, opening Monday 4/30. Stay tuned for more information and a full schedule of all the markets and stop by Van Vorst on Saturday to celebrate the return of market season!
