Mordi's Expands with New Storefront

One of my favorite food trucks in the area, Mordi's Schnitzel, is expanding to a brick and mortar storefront.

Located at 320 Communipaw Ave in the former Lafayette Corner Store space, the new location is named Mordi's Sandwiches. While the truck is known for its Israeli schnitzel and cuisine, this location will offer a variety of different sandwiches that range in style along with some of the familiar favorites from the truck.

Given their dedication to fresh ingredients and well-seasoned food, I'm really looking forward to seeing the new menu and all the different flavor combinations Mordi's will have. No opening date has been set, but the space is going through the final phases of renovation and set-up, so it shouldn't be much longer. They do plan to keep running the truck even once the shop is open so you'll just have even more opportunities to get your fix.
