Located at 225 Hutton Street and featuring brick walls, the space has been under renovation for a year while the last couple of months have been dedicated to recipe testing, staff training, and getting their wine stock in (they're also working on bringing in more local beers to have on tap). The restaurant, labeled as a bar & grill, will serve up a combination of upscale bar food and New American cuisine like Guinness Tempura Sardines, the fantasically oozy Jersey Irish Grilled Cheese pictured below and wild mushroom bruschetta with champagne cream. They've also specified there will be several vegan dishes and it looks like fish dishes will feature heavily as well.

Beyond the main courses, there are several bar snacks on the menu including spiced nuts and meat and cheese platters and if the picture of these doughnuts is anything to go by, dessert is not be missed. All of this is pretty familiar territory for Chef Deuhana Vargas, a resident of Jersey City who formerly worked at the well-regarded Corkbuzz in Manhattan, and the restaurant is a welcome sight for the neighborhood.
