Holiday Markets in Jersey City

The holidays are a busy time in Jersey City, but there are lots of markets around so you can shop while drinking, eating, and having a good time. To help you stay organized, here's a rundown of the markets happening over the next several weeks.

The HDSID Artist & Maker Market is back for the holidays, carrying jewelry, plants, candles, specialty food items, and more, all made by local artists and artisans. Because it's a special seasonal extension of the Farmer's Market, it's one stop shopping - buy your groceries and cross someone off your list.
When and Where: Every Monday and Thursday from 4pm-8pm at Grove Street Plaza

The Jersey City Project: Market is returning again this year, full of great vendors selling handmade goods, antiques, clothing, and art so you can find something for everyone - or something for yourself (it's hard to resist). In addition, the events from The Jersey City Project always prove to have an excellent line-up of both food gifts and food ready to eat and this year promises to be no different. With vendors like Outer Limits Hot Sauce, Hoboken Farms, Eemas Cuisine, Jersey City Veggie Burgers, The Cow and the Curd, Busy Bee Organics (s'mores hot chocolate!), Milk Sugar Love (mini Wintermint Mac Daddys!), and Ahri's Kitchen.
When and Where: This weekend, 12/3 and 12/4, from 11am-6pm behind City Hall, 280 Grove Street

6th Borough Market is celebrating the holiday season with a special pop-up Holiday Bazaar at Harborside featuring favorite vendors from past markets, all carrying hand-crafted or vintage goods. Plus some great snacks like Grandma Downtown and But-A-Cake (also a handy gift) to help fuel you while you shop.
When and Where: Every Tuesday in the Harborside Atrium from 11:00am-3:00pm

The Culinary Conference Center is hosting a Holiday Marketplace with two floors of holiday festivities, over 70 vendors from across Hudson County, a holiday photo booth, free hot apple cider or hot chocolate, a scavenger hunt, donations, and more.
When and Where: 161 Newkirk Street, Saturday 12/10 from 12pm-4pm

Eighty Mag and &CoWork have banded together to offfer a special, select pop-up market at &CoWork with special art, style, and design vendors like Billy Kirk, Inc., Rough Design Co., Niroma Studio, and more. It's also a preview of Eighty Mag's next issue.
When and Where: at &CoWork, 201 Montgomery Stret, 12/9-12/16

The Jersey City West Side Craft Fair is returning for its second year with a diverse roster of local artists, crafters, and vendors, some familiar and some new or not often seen. The Craft Fair focuses on providing a little bit of everything and is a great place to pick up unique, beautifully hand-crafted items at a reasonable price. They've also got a great line-up of food including House of Gains, Squeeze'd, But-A-Cake, The Guac Spot, and so many more. Stay tuned for more details.
When and Where: The Gallo Center at Lincoln Park on 12/17 and 12/18 from 12pm-6pm
