Earlier this year, Harborside Craft Brew Fest came to town and now the organizers are back with the Jersey City Wine Fest, coming next year, 1/28/17.

The JC Wine Fest is your all access pass to hundreds of new wines from around the world. Guests will enjoy unlimited wine samples for the entire evening paired with live entertainment, food and interactive games.
With over 150 styles of wine it’s a great place to discover new wines and speak to winery representatives. Wine Fest will also feature traveling grape seminar series where a sommelier will cover a variety of topics such as the differences between champagne and prosecco. Styles of wine will include both reds and whites like Cabernet, Chianti, Malbec, Merlot, Moscato, Pinot Grigio, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Sangria, Sauvignon Blanc, Torrontes, and White Zin

VIPs get early access to the event and appetizers prepared by Chef Eric Levine, 2011 Food Network Chopped Champion. His menu includes blue cheese and grape bites with honey crisps, jerk chicken with pineapple slaw, bacon mac and cheese with pretzel crumb, pulled pork mojo with chili cilantro rice, and mini bread pudding bites with rum raisin and marshmallow.

DeleteNot to nitpick but that wasn't the first craft beer festival in JC despite being advertised as such. There was Chilltown Beer festival a couple of years ago.
