Weekend Events: Apple Cider Donut Baking Party, JCAST, Roman Nose Anniversary

Friday, 10/13
  • Midnight Market is hosting a special foodie Halloween Bash in Kearny beginning at 6:30pm and running until 1am. All food and drinks are $5 and vendors like Dulcinea, Eemas, Angry Archie's, and Delenio will be there along with many more. 
  • The Harsimus Cove Cemetery is hosting a screening of the Rocky Horror Picture Show from 7:30-10pm. Snacks will be available for purchase and blankets, costumes, and audience participation are all encouraged.  

Saturday, 10/14
  • Bambino Chef is hosting an apple cider donut baking party for kids ages 5-9 years old, starting at 11am and running through 12:15pm.
  • JCAST, a full weekend-long city-wide celebration of the arts in Jersey City, returns for its 27th year with 500 artists at more than 160 venues. Many of the events and exhibits are held at participating cafes and restaurants throughout the city like the Venezuelans Abroad Reception at El Cocotero.
  • Join Liberty Humane Society for their annual Bark in the Park event at Church Square Park in Hoboken from 12-5pm. There will be more than 30 vendors of all kinds including several food vendors and local food trucks, a bounce house, a balloon artist, and other family-friendly activities. 

Sunday, 10/15
  • Roman Nose is celebrating their 5th anniversary in Jersey City with all day pasta specials, live music, a special $5 cocktail called The Almond Spritz and giveaways. 
  • Join the Hoboken Elks Lodge for the first ever Hoboken Pizza Fest benefiting True Mentors, a non-profit one-to-one mentoring program in Hoboken. There are two sessions, with or without alcohol, with more than 8 pizzerias participating and free ice cream from Ben & Jerry's.
  • As part of this year's JCAST, Marketplace JC is hosting a final Magnolia Landing event with .artists, live music, crafts, and lots of food with vendors like Taste of Poland, The.Meta, Sweet Kiss Lemonade and more.
