Weekend Events: Rocky Horror Nite, Twin Peaks Halloween, Corgi Spirits and more

I hope you have your costumes at the ready because this weekend is both the kick-off and the main event for Halloween. Just about every bar in town is having at least one celebration so you can enjoy just about anywhere, but here are a few highlights along with some other great events:

Friday

  • Join LITM for the start of a full weekend of Halloween festivities with their Two Nights In Neverland - they'll have music, dancing, $7 iced tea cocktails all night, and food specials.
  • Fox and Crow is also joining in the two night party fun with Friday and Saturday nights themed as a Twin Peaks Halloween Weekend. The Parlour will transform into the Black Lodge, they'll have live music, homemade cherry pie, coffee cocktails, and costumes are encouraged.

Saturday
  • Loew's Jersey Theatre is hosting Rocky Horror Nite - a screening of the movie AND a masquerade party with music, dancing, light refreshments, and a cash bar. The movie starts at 7pm and the party starts at 8:45pm. Tickets are available online for $25 or at the door for $30.
  • Bambino Chef is holding a special Halloween session from 5-6:15pm on Saturday for kids ages 4-7 where they'll get to do some spooke cookie decorating and make caramel apples. Online RSVP required.
  • If you want to start celebrating early, Barcade is beginning their party at noon with Halloween music and a spooky draft list full of delicious beers with creepy names.
  • Corgi Spirits is celebrating their mini opening. Check out the distillery space and try a few cocktails from 4-10pm.
  • Join Lutze Biergarten for their first-ever Halloween party and their last official night of the season. They'll be closing for winter, but not without first having a great party - there will be happy hour all day and night and costumes are encouraged.
  • Hudson Hall is hosting a Roaring 20's themed Halloween Party Saturday night. They'll have music, a cash prize for the best costume, and a burlesque show starting at midnight.
  • Zeppelin Hall is having a dance party this Saturday night with a $500 cash prize for the best costume.

Sunday

  • Head to the Lincoln Park Farmer's Market at noon for a fun family event with a pumpkin patch, games, the Bubble Queen, and a costume parade beginning at 1:15pm.
  • Porta is hosting a Harvest Festival from 1-6pm with food and drink specials, pumpkin painting, and candy apple making. There will a DJ, live music, and even trick-or-treating to really put you in the Halloween spirit.
