Community News: Low Fidelity Serving Food, Mathew's Celebrates 1 year, Kona Beer Tasting Dinner & more

Jersey City

  • Low Fidelity Bar has started rolling out their food menu. They currently have seasonal salads and sides available along with Detroit-style pizza and they'll have more coming up in the next few weeks.
  • Congratulations to WHOS Gluten Free who will be officially open for brunch starting Saturday, 10/28
  • Squeeze'd has a lot to celebrate this month - they're celebrating their one year anniversary at 8 Springs Studio, they'll be opening a second location soon, and they've got new and improved pricing on their cleanse packages. 
  • Join Mathews this Thursday as they celebrate one year since they opened their doors with new dinner specials, cocktails, and oyster shooters. 
  • Dark Side of the Moo has a variety of Sunday Football specials now available. 
  • Piggyback Bar was included on Grub Street's list of must-have bar snacks for their Korean Honey-Butter Wings. 
  • Jersey City Veggie Burgers are now available on Amazon Fresh.
  • This Wednesday, 10/4, Liberty Prime Steakhouse is hosting a Kona Beer Tasting Dinner. Tickets are $45 for four courses. 
  • Miso Ramen is now open 7 days a week from 11:30am-11pm 

Outside Jersey City
  • After more than two years in the making, Vanillamore Dessert Kitchen has opened at 349 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair. 
  • Via Hoboken Girl, Surf Taco has officially opened their doors at 62 Newark Street. 
  • The Big Brew Beer Festival is this Saturday in Morristown at The Morristown Armory. There will be over 200 craft beers, food from vendors like Angry Archies, the Cow and the Curd, Morris Tap & Grill, and Handsome Devil BBQ, and music. Tickets are $70/person.
  • Curiosity Doughnuts, Brown's, and McMillan's Bakery have been named among some of the best doughnut shops in the state by the owners of nationally-acclaimed Federal Donuts.
