- After more than two years in the making, Vanillamore Dessert Kitchen has opened at 349 Bloomfield Avenue in Montclair.
- Via Hoboken Girl, Surf Taco has officially opened their doors at 62 Newark Street.
- The Big Brew Beer Festival is this Saturday in Morristown at The Morristown Armory. There will be over 200 craft beers, food from vendors like Angry Archies, the Cow and the Curd, Morris Tap & Grill, and Handsome Devil BBQ, and music. Tickets are $70/person.
- Curiosity Doughnuts, Brown's, and McMillan's Bakery have been named among some of the best doughnut shops in the state by the owners of nationally-acclaimed Federal Donuts.
