Weeekend Events: Frankie Celebrates Australia Day, Rita and Joe's Final Weekend, Mutzfest

Starting to get a little winter stir-crazy? It's going to be in the 50s this weekend and there are some great ways to eat and drink well this weekend, so make sure to get out and enjoy!

  • Australian-inspired Frankie, which opened late last year, is celebrating Australia Day the best way they can - with an Australia Day Bash! The party begins at 5pm and runs all night, featuring specials on Australian favorites like fish and chips, meat pies, and Coopers Ale.
  • Check out someplace new or revisit a favorite restaurant in Jersey City with Hudson Restaurant Week. There are some good brunch/lunch options as well as three course dinner options under $40.
  • This is the last weekend to celebrate and say goodbye to Jersey City classic Rita & Joe's. The restaurant will close permanently on Sunday, 1/28.

  • Head over to Hoboken on Sunday for the annual Mutzfest from 2-6pm at the Elks Club at 2005 Washington Street. Tickets are $25 each and proceeds benefit The Hoboken Family Alliance.
  • Join LITM on Sunday night at 7pm for the closing party and concert for their girl power art show Not Sorry! There will be several bands playing, drinks, and more. Admission benefits York Street Project.

Have a great weekend Jersey City!
