Hudson Restaurant Week

Hudson Restaurant Week kicks off another season this Monday, celebrating the height of summer with two weeks of prix-fixe menus at more wallet-friendly prices!

The first offical day of Hudson Restaurant Week is Monday, July 27th and it will run through Friday, August 7th. Restaurants have the choice of offering a two or three course lunch and/or dinner at a discounted price. 

Currently, Jersey City has ten participating restaurants with lunch prices ranging from $16-$20 and dinner prices between $28-$40:
Amelia's Bistro
Bistro La Source
Edward's Steakhouse
Hamilton Inn
Laico's (dinner only)
Liberty House Restaurant
Liberty Prime Steakhouse
Maritime Parc (dinner only)
Porto Leggero
Satis Bistro (dinner only)

My personal recommendations would be Maritime Parc (beautiful views) and Satis Bistro. They're both somewhat higher end, they offer nicely composed menus and good food, and based off their typical price point, enjoying them during Restaurant Week is a nice value. Satis does typically offer a prix-fixe during the week, but your options are substantially more limited.

Some places only offer the special prix-fixe menus on specific days, so make sure you check before making your plans and reservations are recommended. Hudson Restaurant Week can be a great chance to try someplace new or revisit an old favorite.
