After doing some renovations and recently installing several food pop-ups, Harborside has now expanded their selection with another five vendors.
In addition to their current roster spanning everything from barbecue to ramen, they've now added:
Epic Rolls - Epic Rolls will be offering a variety of sushi rolls and other Japanese specialties. They're still under construction but should be open shortly. Now Open, withlimited hours.
Canteen Desi Dhaba - local to Jersey City, Canteen Desi Dhaba focuses on Mughlai dishes and will be offering a chaat station, several vegetarian choices, and combo plates. As of 3/1, they weren't yet open, but looked close to ready. Now open.
The Buddha Bao - panko crusted tofu, carrots, cucumber, sweet chili sauce |
Kaya - Known for their street vending in the city, Kaya is a Taiwannese street food specializing in baos, steamed buns filled with meat or tofu, veggies, and sauce. They also have rice platters and a couple of vegetarian/vegan options. They are currently open.
The Belgian Plate - Created by Waffle It & Co., The Belgian Plate offers liege waffles with a variety of toppings, sweet and savory gluten-free crepes, and fresh-baked baguette sandwiches. They do have some vegetarian options and everything is under the $10 mark. Currently open.
Bucket & Bay - Another Jersey City local, Bucket and Bay is serving up their freshly-made gelato and it looks as though they're offering as many flavors there as they do in the store, as well as a small selection of other treats and pastries. They are keeping longer hours than most of the other vendors, staying open until 4pm.
Most of the vendors continue to fall into the $12 and under range, offer vegetarian, vegan, and some gluten-free options, and will be open from 11am-3pm every Monday-Friday. In addition to the pop-ups, Harborside is hard at work redoing the former Henry on the Hudson's bar. Stay tuned for more information on that.
