Holiday Markets in Jersey City

We're officially into the holiday season and while there's plenty of parties, food, drinks, and winter traditions to enjoy, there's also a lot of shopping! Luckily, Jersey City has a number of options to help you shop locally and have fun while doing so.

Read on to see the list of upcoming holiday markets in Jersey City so you can mark your calendars and find the right gifts for everyone on your list:

Dec. 2nd - 3rd
The Jersey City Project is back with the market that started them all - it's the 4th Annual Project Market and it will run both Saturday, 12/2 and Sunday, 12/3 from 11am-6pm. It takes place in a heated tent at City Hall and not only will there be crafts, vintage, and artisan goods, but there will also be music, pop-up food stalls and trucks from vendors in Jersey City, and beyond, and more. Stay tuned for more details on what you can expect from this year's market and some tips on where to eat!

Also on Saturday, December 2nd, join Growing in Jersey City and Loosen Up JC for an Artisan Holiday Market with vendors like MD13 Jewelry, Tashia's Touch with body scrubs, clothes from Be The Difference, and more including food from Jerk-N-Grind. The market will be held at Loosen Up JC, 188 Newark Ave, Suite 2 from 1-4pm.

Dec. 9th-10th

On Saturday 12/9, head to Lincoln Park for the annual WSCA Holiday Craft Fair! It will run from 12-6pm at the Gallo Center with local artists and craft vendors featuring specialty and unique goods like hand-knit items, jewelry, porcelain animal ornaments, hand-crafted soaps, ceramics, paintings, cards and more. Local food truck No Forks Given will be on hand serving up delicious eats.

On 12/9-12/10, join the HDSID Artist & Maker Market for their Holiday Market with a Winter Wonderland theme on Gove Plaza. The Market will run from 12pm-6:30pm both days in a heated tent with handcrafted goods and specialty food vendors curated by Midnight Market for the occasion. Cocktails will be provided by Left Bank Burger Bar and Santa will be on hand for photos.

Dec. 17th
On Sunday, 12/17, join Hudson County Community College from 12-4pm at 161 Newkirk Street from 12-4pm for their family-friendly Holiday Marketplace. They'll have magic shows, craft-making, story-reading, and face painting along with a wide range of craft vendors, local artists, and more for parents to enjoy.

Stop by the Heights Holiday Pop-Up at the Musicians Building, 130 Central Ave on the second floor. It will run from 11am-4pm and will feature small vendors like The Lucky Honeybee, Radical Wellness, Metal Cloth & Wood, and English Thyme Flowers carrying everything from candles to jewelry to terrariums. They'll also have local artists there selling their work and light refreshments will be available.

Dec. 18th/Dec. 21st
For all the last minute shoppers out there, you still have a couple more chances to get some great gifts. The Artist & Maker Holiday Market will join the HDSID Farmers Market at Grove Street for the final two markets of the year from 4-8pm. They will have jewelry, art, music, and more.
