Thanksgiving is coming up quickly so here's your guide on where to order your turkey, sides and desserts or where to simply make reservations in Jersey City.
Eating At Home
If you're looking for a raw turkey to prep and cook yourself, there are a couple of good local options:
- Bone-In is offering two kinds of farm-fresh turkeys, a heritage breed for $8.50/lb and a broad-breasted for $7/lb. A $25 deposit is required which will be applied to the total cost of the turkey. They also have a variety of vegetables available for order.
- Moloney's Meat Market in Journal Square has fresh turkeys ranging in size from 9-34 lbs.
There are also several options for getting a cooked turkey:
- Hamilton Pork is accepting orders for whole smoked free-range turkeys from 10-12 lbs up through the Monday before Thanksgiving. All turkeys are $99 and they also have sides available for order.
- Hudson Hall will have smoked and roasted 10-12 lb & Evans turkeys for $115 which includes stuffing and gravy. They'll also have sides for either 6 or 12 people available for an additional charge.
- Antique Pecoraro Bakery will take your preseasoned turkey and roast it for you if you bring it in Thanksgiving morning. Contact the shop for more details.
For full menu catering:
- Garden Steaks has put out a truly all-encompassing menu where you can order by the size of your party and they're offering a choice of entrees including short rib, meatloaf, and pernil as well as the standard turkey.
- Anthony David's has a full range of Thanksgiving options available for a la carte ordering to fill all your dinner needs or help support your current menu.
- Hudson Greene Market has both turkey and ham dinners and sides available for groups ranging from 3-8 people.

- Van Hook Cheese has cheese and charcuterie platters in different sizes available for order through 11/20. They're also taking orders for pies by JC Sweets.
- Busy Bee Organics has a selection of Thanksgiving-themed dishes with vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options including a mushroom gravy, whole roasted butternut squash and more. Orders must be in by midnight on Sunday, 11/19
- Grandma Downtown has seasonal stuffed bread specials, several varieties of mac & cheese, and platters of mini-rolls available for order by 11/20. She's also offering 10% off all orders over $50 and 20% off all orders over $100
- Choc O Pain has 6 different pies and tarts in Thanksgiving and fall flavors ready to order.
- Tea NJ is accepting orders for another couple of days on their cakes. Stop by the store to place your order.
- Cocoa Bakery has a variety of cookies, pies, and cakes available for pre-order and will have a small selection of items ready for sale
- WHOS Gluten-Free has cupcakes, pies, and cookies available, all gluten-free. The last day to order is Monday, 11/20
- Milk Sugar Love is bringing back the classic Carrot Cake ice cream cake with carrot cake, cream cheese ice cream, and salted caramel sauce along with apple pie and specialty pints, all available to order on the website before 6pm Monday.
- Satis Bistro is accepting reservations for their three course Thanksgiving prix fixe dinner for $55/person and they'll also be offering their regular menu.
- Liberty House has a three course prix fixe menu from 1-6pm. It's $58/adult and $28/child.
- South House will be serving both family style and a prix fixe meals with reservations beginning at 4pm.
- Liberty Prime Steakhouse will be serving their three couse prix fixe menu starting at 3pm for $55/person and they will also be serving an a la carte menu.
- For a twist on Thanksgiving, head to El Gordo who will be open on Thanksgiving Day, serving up Peruvian favorites.
