Community News: Harborside Craft Brew Fest, LITM 14th Anniversary, OAK on Pine new menu

Jersey City

  • This Saturday, join LITM as they celebrate their 14th anniversary with a Disco Party. They'll have retro cocktails, cake and a champagne toast, a DJ spinning disco, and $7 specials. The festivities start at 5pm and while disco wear is encouraged and celebrated, it is absolutely not required. 
  • Porta is hosting a "Crafts and Carafes" Thanksgiving decoration-making event for both kids and adults next Thursday, 11/16 at 6:30pm. 
  • Don't miss the Sip & Shop event from But-A-Cake and She Imagined Sweets this Friday from 7-10pm. You can sample holiday desserts available for order as well as enjoy food and cocktail specials.
  • The OAK on Pine will be open Tuesday through Thursday this week with reservations available from 6pm-9pm. The menu is no longer prix fixe, it will be a la carte with several options for starters, mains, sides, and dessert. 
  • This Saturday is the Harborside Craft Brew Fest. They'll have two sessions with over 150 craft beers and lots of food. Get $15 off with code JCEATS.
  • Juice Basin celebrated their ribbon-cutting with the city last year after opening at the end of September. 
  • During November and December, Jerk-N-Grind if offering 10% off any first time catering orders. 
  • Urban Sanctuary is hosting a Warriors of Light PopUp Dinner next Saturday,11/18. Part of the proceeds will go towards Let's Celebrate, offering nutritional, financial, and afforadable housing services. 
  • Hudson Hall launched brunch service over the weekend. They'll be offering brunch every weekend from 11am-3pm.

Outside Jersey City
  • A Jersey Mike's Subs shop is opening in Bayonne this Wednesday at 901 Bayonne Crossing Way. It will be open from 10am-9pm daily and to celebrate their opening, they're holding a fundraiser for Bayonne High School, offering coupons for a free sub for a $2 donation to the school.
  • Dave & Buster's is heading to New Jersey. The first one opens this week in the Woodbridge Mall and the second will open in Willowbrook Mall in Wayne where construction for the restaurant is currently ongoing.
