Community News: Hudson Restaurant Week launches, Razza on TV, Liberty Prime expands happy hour

Jersey City



  • Hudson Restaurant Week begins Monday, 7/23 with 47 restaurants offering lunch and dinner deals throughout Hudson County and it will run through Friday, 8/3. 
  • Congratulations to Razza on being featured in new Netflix show Somebody Feed Phil for their excellent pizza including seasonal favorite, the corn pizza. 
  • Departed Soles was voted 3rd Best Gluten-Free beer in the USA Today Reader's Choice competition. 
  • Liberty Prime Steakhouse has expanded their happy hour. It will now be every day from 2pm-7pm
  • Square 1 has stopped offering delivery via online platforms like Seamless, GrubHub, etc. After analyzing their delivery requests, they found that most requests were coming from a few block radius. 
  • Chopped champion Chef Franco Robazetti and his new summer menu at Surf City were featured on NJ.com
  • Next weekend will be your last change to enjoy Andreas Salumeria for a while. They'll be closed for vacation from Monday, July 30th through August 13th. 

Outside Jersey City
  • The Hoboken Turtle Club has announced it is closing its doors after eight years in business. Their final day will be 8/31. 
  • West New York has a new Farmer's Market. Located on 60th Street & Boulevard East, the market runs every Sunday from 9am-4pm until September 30th. They're also looking for more vendors to help provide more variety.
