Happy Weekend, Jersey City! If you're staying in town, there are some great festivals and plenty to eat and drink. Here's what's going on:
Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Feast, 7/12-7/16 - 99 Broadway
The Mt. Carmel Annual Feast is back again this year, running from 6:30-12am on both Friday and Saturday and until 11pm on Sunday. There will be music, rides, a nghtly 50/50, an outdoor Italian cafe and lots of great Italian/Italian-American food.
Feministival in Jersey City, 7/13 - Hamilton Park
Join Jersey City Families for their monthly Feministival series showcasing women-owned businesses including artists, health care providers, food businesses and more. Samples and demos are provided by the vendors and there's plenty of entertainment for kids. The festival runs from 4-7:30pm.
Madame Claude Wine Tasting, 7/13 - Madame Claude Wine, Hamilton Park
In celebration of French Week, Madame Claude Wine will be offering a wine tasting from 5-7pm
Pivot Fitness Outdoor Booze Camp, 7/14 - Lutze Biergarten
Pivot is holding a special outdoor 50 minute bootcamp session at Lutze Biergarten which will then be followed up with some social time and a drink on the house. The session will begin at 12pm and it's $15 to register.
Lucky 7's Rock & Roll BBQ, 7/14 - 322 2nd Street
Lucky 7's Annual Rock & Roll BBQ is back for its 7th year. Second Street between Jersey and Coles will be filled with beer stations, bbq, games, a kid-friendly zone and more along with the stage for a day full of live music from local bands. The festival runs from 12pm-3am
Bastille Day Festival, 7/14 - 209 3rd Street
The French American Academy has been hosting a week full of French celebrations ending with this Saturday's Bastille Day Celebration on Third Street. There will be a street fair with music, games for kids, and lots of French food, wine, and beer.
