Weekend Round-Up: Angel Azul Celebrates 20 years, Marketplace JC and more

Happy Weekend, Jersey City! Here's what's going on:

Friday
Angel Azul Cafe Anniversary Celebration, 460 Central Ave
Angel Azul Cafe, a family-run coffee shop with Colombian/Ecuadorian pastries and platters, is celebrating 20 years in business. They'll have a celebratory ribbon-cutting and other festivities beginning around 11am. Their delicious cafe con leche will be free from 11am-1pm and only .20 the rest of the day.

Saturday
GREEN VILLAIN Block Party, 474 Warren Street
Join GREEN VILLAIN and Writer's Bench for their block party at VYV Apartments from 12-6pm. 15 artists will be creating murals over 3,000 square feet of blank space. They'll have a DJ, live music, and food from Incrediballs, Park & Munch, and Luigi's Ice Cream onsite as well to help keep the party going. More info here.

Marketplace JC, 136 Magnolia Ave
Head to Marketplace JC from 12-5pm for some live music provided by Riverview Jazz, food, drinks, and hand-crafted and vintage goods from specialty vendors throughout New Jersey and beyond.

Sunday
Riverview Market, Riverview Fisk Park
The Riverview Farmer's Market runs from 10am-3pm every Sunday. They have a large range of vendors selling produce from local New Jersey farms, farm-fresh meat, hot sauces, soap and candles, local honey, and more along with a rotating selection of food trucks and food vendors like El Chilango Taqueria, Casa Cubana, Caribbean Delicacies, and more.

Lincoln Park Farmer's Market, Lincoln Park
The Lincoln Park Farmer's Market features local farm-fresh organic produce, flowers, fresh eggs and more along with a free yoga class at 11:30am. The market runs from 10am-3pm
